Pumpkin spice is one of the top 10 things I look forward to in the fall. It is so delicious I feel like I can add it to pretty much anything. I tried adding this to my morning coffee, and tea, and it was awesome. I discovered this in researching for my pumpkin spice donuts, and I have been loving it ever since.
In ayurvedic medicine, ginger and cinnamon have natural healing properties to prep your body for the upcoming cold and flu season. So naturally, our bodies crave the spice blend in colder weather rather than in the summer months. Something that we wouldn’t get from the artificial Starbucks flavourings.
It’s really simple to upscale or downscale since it is equal portions of each of the spices.
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1. Combine all ingredients and store in a spice jar.
